Neroli Water

We have used Neroli Water or Bitter Orange Hydrosol at a percentage where it can give a high moisturizing property instantly. The Bitter Orange Hydrosol is obtained as a byproduct of the essential oil distillation. Usually the active components of the essential oils trickle down in this water in minute quantity which can make it a potent replacement of the water phase in a product. The beauty of the Neroli water is that it contains brightening and anti pigmentation actives. The repeated usage of this hydrosol is seen to reduce pigmentation, brighten the skin and reduce the rate of developing signs of ageing.

 

Jojoba Oil

 Its composition is very similar to the sebum, or oil, naturally produced in our skin, so it will not clog your pores. It is known for its long shelf-life stability and strong resistance to high temperatures. It is a potent moisturizer due to its ability to act just like our skin’s natural oils. Vitamin E in Jojoba oil is a strong antioxidant, it helps speed up cell regeneration on skin. Jojoba oil can be used to alleviate skin that is suffering from sunburn. By boosting skin's moisture, jojoba oil helps diminish dullness and up your glow.

 

 

Rosehip Oil

It helps to protect and moisturize skin, fight free radical damages. It also has antioxidants that rejuvenate the skin to restore elasticity, help to correct dark spots, and reduce the appearance of scars. Rose hip oil is rich in vitamins A, C, E and essential fatty acids. These fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and can improve signs of aging.

Glycerin

This is a Humectant. Which means it holds water better in the product and prevents it from rapid evaporation. Humectants also do the job of hydrating the top layer of the skin and keeping the product on the skin for longer duration. They are important ingredients that help in optimal actives delivery to the skin. Addition of humectants help in product stability too.

 

Walnut Shell Powder

It is an effective exfoliant which has a very small particle size. The particle size is carefully chosen such that there is no harsh abrasion of the product on the skin. Exfoliants sometime cause micro tears on the skin exposing the capillaries. This overtime can cause skin to dehydrate and become prone to acne and infection. Particles of the walnut shell that we have used are perfectly rounded so that they glide on the skin evenly and do not cause high friction.

 

Licorice Extract

Licorice has been an important brightening active with a strong reference in Ayurveda. Like many other plant-based extracts, licorice contains a flavonoid, an antioxidant-rich component that decreases reactive oxygen species, which both age and discolor the skin. Inhibits the production of an enzyme needed to produce melanin (pigment) in the skin, helps remove excess melanin, has anti-inflammatory benefits.

  

Avocado Oil

The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and also increase collagen metabolism. Aloevera Extract

It contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin. It also has cohesive effects by sticking together flaking epidermal skin cells, resulting in softer skin and improved skin integrity

  

HEC

This efficient thickener performs across a wide pH range and demonstrates high salt tolerance and broad surfactant compatibility. It helps to trap in water so that the product can stay longer on the skin.

 

 

Niancinamide

Also called nicotinamide, is a form of vitamin B3. Niacinamide helps build keratin, a type of protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy. Lipid barrier. Niacinamide can help your skin grow a ceramide (lipid) barrier, which can, in turn, help retain moisture. Researchers found Niacinamide is an important ingredient in skin lightening, which works to stop the transfer of melanin pigment (responsible for the darkening of the skin) to skin cells (keratinocyte). Niacinamide decreases hyperpigmentation and lightens skin gradually after using it for a long duration.

 

Hyaluronic Acid

Also known as hyaluronan, it is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by your body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well lubricated and moist.
